Hula - Experience the Spirit of Aloha Hawaiian Dance classes from Island Blessings, Kauai, Hawaii

Halau Hula Na Lei Kupua, an ongoing hula school on Kauai, is led by Fern Merle-Jones. Classes are held Thursdays at 4:45pm in Princeville at The Church of the Pacific function hall and are open to visitors for a $15 donation. The Halau was started in 1998 and is under the leadership of Kumu Hula Susan Pa`iniu Floyd and guidance of Kumu Hula Kawaikapuokalani Hewett, our Loea (Inspirational leader).
In addition to our Thursday night classes, Fern and staff have led private classes for wedding groups, "bachelorette parties," workshops, and for individuals wanting to learn a dance to present at a special event.

The Halau has performed at multiple venues and can also provide group and solo dancers to entertain at special functions.
